Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion, greatly restricted the ability of States to regulate guns, required funding of religious education in Maine, blocked COVID 19 mandates for large businesses, and restricted the power of the Environmental Protection Agency to address climate change, among many other important decisions. Vin/Yin Yoga at Cashiers Valley Fusion
A gentle blend of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, this class explores the energies of yang and yin to create more balance and harmony for the mind and body.
Each student is encouraged to move slowly with awareness. The Vinyasa portion of the practice links slow to moderate movement to the breath and is designed to warm the body in preparation for the Yin portion which includes holding poses for 2-5 minutes. The Yin poses allow the connective tissues, muscles and more to stretch slowly to create more space internally.

Carol Misner Art Trunk Show at Acorns Boutique
Carol Misner Art Trunk Show at Acorns Boutique
There is no mistaking Carol Misner’s botanical paintings. Each piece is her unique interpretation of the flora, in monochromatic tones, reflecting the simple beauty, gracefulness, and fragility of the botanical it portrays. Ms. Misner so delicately layers her acrylics to achieve a diaphanous, gossamer quality that it has been said her works resemble x-rays in watercolor. The majority of Ms. Misner’s subjects come from the beautiful flora she finds in her community and in her travels.
