Highlands Marketplace; This local market opens Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park on Pine Street and you’ll want to arrive early for the best selections. Not only will you see your neighbors there shopping, but you’ll see local farmers, crafters, growers, artists, and bakers.
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
Robins and warblers and crows, oh my! Birders of all skill levels are welcome to join the Highlands Nature Center every Wednesday in September as we take an easy walk around campus to find our feathered friends.
Binoculars available for those who need them. This program is weather dependent.
