Peaceful Journey

Ristorante Paoletti is once again hosting its annual Peaceful Journey in support of the Hospice House Foundation of Western North Carolina on Wednesday, September 27, at 6:30 P.M.

The cost of this special evening out is $300 per person ($200 of which is tax deductible) and includes a sumptuous four-course meal, exquisitely paired wines and the opportunity to bid on fabulous items during a silent auction.

HHFWNC is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to raise funds for a hospice inpatient facility for Western North Carolina and Northeast Georgia. Our region’s older demographics speak volumes to the need for an inpatient hospice facility close to home. The proposed hospice house in Franklin, North Carolina will help ensure life’s final journey is one of compassion, comfort and dignity for the people of our mountain region.

HHFWNC has raised over $3 million towards its $5 million goal for its Capital Project (including $1.3 million in challenge grants).  Tentative plans are to break ground next August, contingent on raising an additional $1 million (when total funds raised reach $4 million) so our regional hospice house could be serving hospice patients and their families as early as fall 2019. Peaceful Journey dinners have played a significant part in this fundraising effort, having netted a combined total of $260,000 toward seeing the fruition of this dream.
