Southern Botanics Art Trunk Show at Acorns Boutique; Southern Botanics specializes in collecting, pressing, mounting, and framing flowers, leaves, and other plant materials in the style of botanical engravings, all items are original hand-crafted artworks. The Latin and common names, dates, and locations are recorded in the style of herbariums.
Highlands Marketplace; This local market opens Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park on Pine Street and you’ll want to arrive early for the best selections. Not only will you see your neighbors there shopping, but you’ll see local farmers, crafters, growers, artists, and bakers.

Mountaintop Art & Craft Show (previously the Village Square Show) will be held in downtown Highlands at K-H Founders Park (Pine St.) from 10 to 5. The FREE event features regional potters, jewelers, woodworkers, fine artists, etc. plus food.
Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
