Casey Engel “Surface Play” Workshop at The Bascom
Lines, color, pattern, and resist! This four day playful workshop will be loaded with instructional demos focusing on surface design – line, sgraffito, underglaze decals, wax resist techniques, sanding, and color mixing. In this course, students will work with a rich red clay body that provides a lot of potential with the use of drawing and layering colorful underglaze, slips, and decals.
This class is designed for seasoned beginner, intermediate, and advanced students who have prior experience working with clay. Students will make forms independently however they feel the most comfortable either wheel throwing or handbuilding.

Vin/Yin Yoga at Cashiers Valley Fusion
A gentle blend of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, this class explores the energies of yang and yin to create more balance and harmony for the mind and body.
Each student is encouraged to move slowly with awareness. The Vinyasa portion of the practice links slow to moderate movement to the breath and is designed to warm the body in preparation for the Yin portion which includes holding poses for 2-5 minutes. The Yin poses allow the connective tissues, muscles and more to stretch slowly to create more space internally.

Breathe, move, sweat and connect! Stoked by yogic breathing techniques, the internal heat of the body couples well with the external heat of the room to allow you the opportunity to drop a little deeper into your practice.
Each pose creates an opportunity to transform and grow without sacrificing the integrity of Yoga's mind, body, breath relationship.
Warm Flow Yoga class is taught in a heated room of 80-85 degrees. This is NOT hot yoga which is 90-115 degrees.
This class is suited for level 1, 2 and 3 students. Modifications and enhancements are offered as needed so everyone in the class is able to work at their own level comfortably. This class is not suited for beginners.

Join us at HMH on Friday, March 24th at 8:30 pm for a Salon Series featuring Daniel Tashian, arguably one of the most dynamic singer-songwriters in the world.
A native of Nashville, he has spent his career in Music City honing his craft with the best of the best, writing and producing for a long list of impressive artists. In 2019, Tashian won the highest Grammy Award honor– the coveted "Album Of The Year" award for co-writing and co-producing Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour record.
The evening will comprise songs from Tashian's expansive songbook, as well as his recent, critically acclaimed album, Night After Night.
