HMF: One Lap of the Mountains at Kelsey Hutchinson Park

Join the fun as, each day, 50 lucky drivers, and their passengers drive beautiful mountain “less traveled” roads and experience the comradery with the “One Lappers”. The annual “One Lap of The Mountains” driving tours have become the one of festival’s most popular events.

These exhilarating driving adventures are technical rallies as opposed to timed rallies, designed to give drivers a chance to enjoy the scenery while staying together as a group.

Balance & Flow Yoga at Cashiers Valley Fusion

Enjoy a warming flow of postures to strengthen and tone the breath, body and mind. This class will include postures that will challenge you physically, create awareness, release tension, and open shoulders, hips and spine for more flexible movement and overall well-being.

Modifications are offered for a safe and fun practice.

This class is suitable for LEVELS 1, 2 and 3 of yoga practitioners. We recommend students new to yoga begin with our Beginner and Level 1 classes first to establish comfort and familiarity of the basics of yoga before moving into any mixed level class.

Class is limited to 15 people and online registration is required.

June Beginner Potter’s Wheel at The Bascom

The Bascom 323 Franklin Rd, Highlands

All the basics you will need to know to get started working on the potter’s wheel. We will make bowls (ex. berry bowls, soup bowls, colander, cereal bowls, etc) and cylinders (ex. Mugs, tumblers, sippers – based on the learning curve) and learn how to trim. Glazing will be covered the last class.

The Bookworm Open

The Bookworm 555 Main Street, Highlands

Known as the “Cheers” of Bookstores, the Bookworm in Highlands is affiliated with the Hudson Library: all books are donated; all staff are volunteers; and all funds go to help support the library. More than a retail store, we are a community service offering carefully sorted donated books to provide the best quality at a used bookstore price.
