Each Supreme Court term brings a new set of potentially landmark cases that have the potential to change established legal rules and transform our society. This discussion will focus on the Court’s most recently decided cases from 2019 and 2020 which involve immigration issues, government immunity, the insanity defense in criminal cases, unanimous juries and discrimination based on sexual orientation.
CHS welcome Ann Van Curen back to Cahsiers for another performance of Rowena "Grandma" Gatewood. Actress Ann Van Curen transforms into "Grandma" Gatewood to describe what it was like to be the first woman to solo hike the Appalachian Trail in 1955. The Dramatization is based on the book "Grandma Gatewood's Walk", which was written from accounts of Gatewoods surviving family members, newspaper, magazine articles and her own diaries and journals. "An inspiring true story with just enough touch of humor."
