Make a Santa Memory
Take a minute to envision your favorite family Christmas photograph. Does your mind race to family fun with everyone gathered around Santa dressed in your tackiest Christmas sweaters and wearing smiles a mile wide?
How about your children in their Christmas finery, eyes gleaming with anticipation of the wonders of the season, whispering their wishes into Santa’s ear? Maybe Fido needs a turn on Santa’s lap.
Whatever memory you wish to capture this season, you can always find Santa in Highlands taking a minute to pose for pictures and hear Christmas wishes. This year he’ll be on the lawn of the First Baptist Church on Main Street Saturdays in December before Christmas from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. The exception is December 5 when rumor has it that the merry gentlemen will once again spend his morning making a guest appearance at our Christmas Parade. Following the parade he will be on the church lawn until 3:00 P.M. Here you can review your wish list with Santa and have that cherished keepsake photo taken. More than one family Christmas card photo has been taken with Santa on these special Saturday visits. Why not start a new family tradition this year and make photos with Santa in Highlands an annual event?
If you have questions about Santa’s busy schedule or the events that mark Highlands’ holiday season – the Olde Mountain Christmas Parade, other planned holiday events, or the Christmas programs and chorales planned by local churches, please contact the Highlands Visitor Center at (828) 526-2112.
Highlands sparkles during the holiday season, so join Santa and make those Christmas memories.
