The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation will be opening the doors of the original church and offering strolls through the revitalized gardens on Saturday, July 9, from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.

The church was built in 1896, has hand-carved pews and beautiful walnut woodworking throughout.  Stained glass windows are exceptional and depict the natural plant and animal life of the area, each in memory of Highlands citizens who were actively involved in the life of the church.  A knowledgeable docent will be present to help guide visitors and explain the history of Incarnation.

Lemonade and iced tea will be served in the newly revitalized garden.  There will be docents on hand to identify plants and relate their significance to the church.  The tours are free to the public.  Please join us for a lovely afternoon in the historic church and a stroll through the gardens.
