On July 7 and 8, shoppers from around the state will converge on Cashiers for The Church of the Good Shepherd’s Auction and Bazaar.  All funds raised go directly to the community, benefiting over 20 local organizations.

The excitement begins on July 7 with a silent and live auction at The Church of the Good Shepherd (1448 Highway 107 South).  For $10, guests have a chance to bid on incredible items like an evening with James Farmer; dinner for 12 prepared by John Currance – a James Beard award-winning chef; and a private eclipse party for 16 at Serenity Acres, a former Cashiers Designer Showhouse, among many other items. The silent auction is from 4:00 P.M. to 6:15 P.M., and the live auction starts at 6:30 P.M.

The bazaar, opening on July 8, now boasts two locations to showcase an array of home and personal goods.  From 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M., buyers can check out indoor and outdoor furniture, art, rugs, and garden decor at the new Bazaar Barn (118 Highway 64 behind the former Exxon station), while kitchen appliances, children’s items, knick-knacks, and more will be at the Cashiers Community Center (355 Frank Allen Road).

For a sneak peak of the goods at the new Bazaar Barn, a pre-sale will take place on July 1 from 9:00 A.M. to noon.
