The Literacy & Learning Center is a nonprofit whose mission is to advance the benefits of literacy on the Highlands/Cashiers plateau and its connected communities. We work hard to raise money to bring free educational programs to those who need them. As a leader at Laurel Magazine, you understand the pressing need for, and the many benefits and opportunities, education provides to our community.
In an effort to continue and expand our work at The Literacy & Learning Center, we’re organizing a Golf Ball Drop to raise funds. Our recent event with concert pianist Randall Atcheson was a success, and we are so proud of what we’ve already achieved, but we want to make this one even better.
