Over the past 25 years, Wolfgang’s Restaurant & Wine Bistro has earned a well-deserved reputation for exquisite dining in an elegant yet relaxing  atmosphere, a reputation that extends far beyond The Highlands-Cashiers Plateau. Southern Living named Wolfgang’s the “Best Place for Dinner in Highlands,” and Our State magazine named Wolfgang’s the “place you must eat in Macon County.”

Add to that the 21 Best of Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence earned by the restaurant (including one received just last month), and you can see why a Wine Dinner offered by Wolfgang’s and Caymus Vineyards and Wagner Family Wines, on Saturday, November 9, is one of the standout events of the Highlands Food and Wine Festival.

Chef Wolfgang will create five remarkable courses to complement Caymus Vineyards and Wagner Family Wines.  The Wagner Family continue a true Napa Valley winemaking legacy tracing back over 150 years and eight generations.

The event starts at 6:30 P.M. with Champagne and appetizers, followed by dinner at 7:00 P.M. Cost is $160, excluding tax and gratuity. For reservations or more information, call (828) 526-3807.

Festival plans are still being made, so you’ll want to visit highlandsfoodandwine.com to get the latest word. That’s also where you read in-depth descriptions of everything that’s happening, including those ever-popular wine dinners, and learn more about the chefs, musicians and restaurants that’ll
be participating.
