Ashotgun start at 11:30 a.m. will kick off Cashiers Cares first GolfTournament, hosted at Trillium Club Monday, September 19.The field is limited to 100 players who will play in a scrambleformat. The agencies servedare AWAKE, Boys & GirlsClub of the Plateau, PisgahLegal Services, CommunityCare Clinic, CashiersValley Preschool, HamptonPreschool and Early Learning Center, SAFE, Four Seasons Hospice Care,Fishes & Loaves and United Christian Ministries of Jackson County.Operating with nearly no expenses, Cashiers Cares has distributed morethan $500,000 to the community since 2008.
