Rotary Club of Highlands Raises over $15,000 at 4th of July Activities

The Rotary Club of Highlands celebrated the 4th of July with a hot dog cookout raising over $5,000 for recent Highlands School graduate Seth Staffelbach’s dental restoration. All 1000 hot dogs were given out to guests enjoying the activities at the Highlands baseball field.

In addition, over 1000 tickets for ducks were purchased for the annual Duck Derby. Hundreds of spectators lined Mill Creek to watch the most thrilling five minutes in Highlands as over 1000 rubber ducks made the trek down Mill Creek to the finish line.  The Duck Derby raised over $10,000 to support the Rotary Club’s charitable work in the Highlands Community.
