This holiday season, the Highlands Community Christian Chorale will present “A Choral Celebration of the Nativity” on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10.  Join the singers at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation at 5:00 P.M. both afternoons.  The church is located at 520 Main Street at the corner of Fifth Street.

This year’s performance will mark the 23rd year of performances.  The Chorale is made up of 41 singers from all churches on the Plateau who come together each year to celebrate the Christmas Season in song.  These dedicated singers practice from Labor Day until time for the performance.  Highlands is truly blessed to have such dedicated individuals.

The concert will feature works of Gustav Holst, Michael Jonas, Alfred Burt, and David Angerman, along with some traditional favorite carols.  Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church is this year’s concert sponsor, with Mary Beth Brody as the Artistic Director and Bryan Heller at the piano.  The Chorale has become a Highlands holiday tradition.  Come enjoy the beautiful sounds of the season on the Plateau.
