The ML Performing Arts Center Mission Statement
To Provide our community with the benefits of a first class, low cost facility for local 501c3 organizations and to promote and encourage the Performing Arts.
They currently have three resident groups:
The Highlands Cashiers Chamber Music Festival: presenting an annual six week chamber music festival in July & August.
The Highlands Cashiers Players: presenting three/four live theater productions per year.
The PAC Youth Theater Program: providing a comprehensive theater arts education for area students in seventh to twelfth grade. Program is open to all students free of charge.
The PAC presents six-seven live concerts per year, including, Broadway, Bluegrass, Retro Rock, Comedy and Dance. Many times their performers offer Outreach Programs to our PAC Youth Theater.
From October to May they offer Live vis Satellite the MET Opera, The National Theatre of London and the Bolshoi Ballet.
