Garden Club Plant Sale

ome to the Mountain Garden Club’s 35th Annual Plant Sale for their hand dug, quality plants from local gardens.

 It’ll be held from 9:00 A.M. to noon Saturday, May 27, at the Highlands Ball Field, rain or shine.

This fundraiser allows the club to fund its scholarship program for local students studying conservation and horticulture, plus support other programs including the club’s Youth Program at Highlands School, the gardens at Fidelia Eckerd Living Center, The Biological Station, and The Land Trust.  

Come early for a great selection of plants including cinnamon ferns, dahlias, toad trillium, columbine, miniature plants for your fairy garden, and lots more.   

New this year, a raffle with multiple winners for great prizes, including an elegant container garden, a saw-toothed shovel, a hand-crafted garden bench, a tree and more. There will be 10 winners in all.  Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.  You can purchase them from club members at locations throughout Highlands or at the Ball Field the day of the sale.   

This is always a headliner event, so come early for best selection.  Bring your wagon or sled and fill them to the brim.
