Lullwater House

The name evokes the serene, Southern elegance that is Lullwater House, a luxury vacation rental located at 35 Foreman Road. This classic home offers accommodations for groups of up to 24 people.  The six-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath home is perfect for wedding parties, corporate retreats, girl’s weekends, or family reunions. There is ample space for spending time together as a group, or finding your own private nook to rest, relax or read.  Children are welcome here and pets are considered.

Partners Steve and Rebecca Frey and Jamie McPherson and George Lloyd Raines (Tra) III purchased this property in October 2016 and have transformed it into a calming, relaxing space that offers every convenience needed to make your vacation or destination event all they can be.

Inspired by the tranquil, natural surroundings, the exterior spaces and interiors offer a neutral, calming palette. Throughout the house you’ll be delighted with the quality workmanship and designer touches. Many furnishings, accessories and linens were purchased locally, so if you see something you like, ask about it.  They can point you to the best shopping in town. Perhaps most surprising is that even with its close proximity to town, this home is a serene oasis that seems a world apart.

Such perfection isn’t surprising when you consider the collective talents of each partner. Jamie and Tra own and operate Vinewood Plantation in Newnan, Georgia, one of the South’s premier wedding venues. Widely covered in publications such as Southern Living and Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, they bring their unique brand of magic to Lullwater House. Jamie and Tra often refer to themselves as the front of the house guy and the behind the scenes guy, though truthfully, both are adept at each role. Jamie is a renowned interior designer and wedding coordinator. When not promoting Lullwater House and Vinewood Plantation, Tra also finds time for his successful hair salon in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Their friends of many years, Steve and Rebecca, are the perfect complement to this dynamic duo. Rebecca brings a classic sense of style and practical solutions to make sure that your stay exceeds your every expectation. Steve offers business acumen that keeps everything running smoothly.

Friendship is the basis of this successful partnership and together they have created the ideal retreat to make your dreams come true.

As enticing as the interior is, you’ll want to take time to enjoy the private acre-and-a-half of manicured gardens surrounded by a mix of evergreen  and hardwood trees, and a stream-fed
koi pond.
