Annawear was opened in 1986 by Anna Herz who still owns and operates the business. The store, located in the Galax Movie Theatre building on Main Street in Highlands, North Carolina, has been an ever evolving project for Anna and the Annawear staff. The most recent transition was adding an arts faux antique upper level containing a shoe boutique and the much loved sale room. The goal of Anna and company is to create a fun, relaxing shopping environment for customers. We have concocted an eclectic mixture of clothing and accessories, with prices ranging from inexpensive tops and dresses to sought after designer jeans.
