Camping in Cashiers, NC

Cashiers Valley, the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is convenient to beautiful camping sites, located in the nearby villages of Glenville and Sapphire, NC. Located moments away, Cashiers is the center of this charming glen, which includes the pristine Lake Glenville and the Gorges State Park.

Ralph J. Andrews County Park

Ralph J. Andrews County Park, located right in the town of Glenville offers 47 campsites, full RV hook-ups, tent sites, primitive campsites, picnic areas, fishing areas, hot showers, bathrooms and a dump station. All of these facilities are available for use from April 15th through to October 31st, with a camping limit of two weeks. The prices per day range from $8 (primitive campsite) to $14 (RV hookup).

Gorges State Park

With rivers and waterfalls, Gorges State Park offers primitive camping in spectacular surroundings near the southern boundary of the park on the Foothills Trail. These six primitive campsites at Lake Jocassee come with fire rings, picnic tables and lantern hooks. Located at Frozen Creek Access on Frozen Creek Road near Rosman, N.C., the campsites are 5.5 miles down yellow trail from parking area. Campsites are open yearround, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
