Wine Talk

I’ve been a fan of this producer of Sancerre for years and happened upon a bottle last week.

As I opened my bottle of Henri Bourgeios “Petite Bourgeios” Sauvignon Blanc (not technically a Sancerre) and poured a glass, the room was filled with aromas of lemon, gooseberry and wet stone. I sat outside to enjoy my wine under the stars. The wine was so intense I had to let it sit for a few minutes.

I have always held this producer in the highest regard and it says so much that they can produce some of the finest wines in Sancerre, and also produce this gorgeous wine and ship it all the way to Highlands to be had for $14.

So, if you happen upon this wine, grab a bottle or two. It will not disappoint.

Drink well, Curt
