Bingo for the Scouts
(L toR ) Chris Cox and Samuel Dyer

Cub Scouts and their supporters hope you will join them for Rotary Bingo at 6:30 P.M. Thursday, October 5, at the Highlands Community Building next door to the Town Ball Field on the Cashiers Highway.  You’ll have a night of fun while supporting a worthwhile cause.

Highlands Cub Scout Pack 207 includes young men from first to fifth grades from Highlands and Cashiers.  The Pack teaches honesty, integrity, citizenship, and other skills that will benefit them throughout their entire life.

Folks who want to go the extra mile have several options — return your winnings to the Scouts, sponsor a table ad or donate to scouting.  Ads are not just for business owners.  Individuals can show their support of the scouts by sponsoring a table.  A one-page ad is only $50; half-page ads are $25.  Make your checks payable to the Cub Scout Pack 207.  Send them to Cub Scouts, attention Robbie Forrester, at P.O. Box 1959, Highlands, NC 28741, or call (828)-342-1627.   Game 15 is The Big Game and gives you the chance to win some serious money.   Laugh a lot, share with friends, and support the Scouts.

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Highlands for sponsoring Bingo each month.  This is a terrific way for our area non-profits to raise funds in a fun environment.  Oh, by the way.  Phil Potts has retired after 14 years of being Scout Master for this Pack.  Won’t some of you folks with scouting experience take over the role of Scout Master?  Thanks to Robbie Forrester for being Interim Scout Master.

Scouts are a key asset to our community.  Let’s all gather for Bingo for the Scouts.
