Bark, Beer & Barbecue

After a three-year hiatus, one of the most fondly-remembered fundraisers and “fun-raisers” for the Cashiers-Highlands Humane Society is back.

Bark, Beer & Barbecue combines a fantastic mountain-themed dinner and auction with a unique setting and ambiance that will make even repeat visitors to The Farm feel like they are visiting a magical place for the very first time.  The suspense then builds as the night culminates in the naming of the coveted CHHS Humane Heroes of the Year.

Bark, Beer, & Barbecue is Wednesday, August 16, at 5:30 P.M. at The Farm at Old Edwards – one of the most elegant and sought-after event venues in the mountains of North Carolina.  The evening features a live and silent auction, live music, beer, wine and spirits, and a scrumptious Southern barbecue dinner from Cashiers Farmers Market.

Bark, Beer, & Barbecue is limited to just 200 guests for a fun-filled experience and a true party for the animals.  Tickets are $195 per person ($390 per couple), and tables of 10 can be reserved for $1,800.  A portion of the ticket purchase is a generous, tax-deductible contribution to help CHHS rescue more animals and find more forever homes, and provide vital community outreach programs such as humane education, pet therapy, and low-cost spay/neuter.

Bark, Beer & Barbecue is the “must-attend” party for animal lovers in Highlands and Cashiers and is expected to sell out quickly, so reserve your seats today.  To charge your tickets by phone, please call (828) 743-5769.  To pay by check, you can mail your ticket request to: CHHS, P.O. Box 638, Cashiers, NC 28717.
